The service

Vilmo is an English-learning application that teaches through short scenes from movies and videos, with adjustable difficulty (levels 1–10), speech speed controls, grammar practice, progress tracking, and a leaderboard.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Vilmo for your own learning. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app or its content except as permitted by law.

Acceptable use

When using Vilmo you agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts;
• manipulate points, streaks, or leaderboard rankings through automated tools or exploits;
• use an offensive display name or impersonate another person.

Content and intellectual property

The app, its design, texts, and learning materials are owned by Vilmo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Video content is provided for personal learning use within the app only.

Purchases

Any purchases or subscriptions made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by those stores and are additionally subject to their terms, including their refund policies.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Vilmo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Learning outcomes vary from person to person. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Vilmo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
